I'm surprised Man City haven't offered the PL a billion pounds to change the rules that, regardless of whether they win, lose or draw, Man City get 3 points.

Hang on a minute, the City owners being Arabic follow Islam.
So while I am sure they think he is a great profit (sorry I mean prophet), from their point of view its not the final piece in the jigsaw is it ?
I await news of them signing the prophet Mohammed (peace and man city shirt be upon him), and Jesus Christ being dropped to the reserves. Or rather the elite squad as they are called there.
