Some of you just want to be offended.

I'm still too offended by the picture of Ashley bullfighting to be bothered about this.

*sobs into handkerchief*

This made me titter. Very good.

Yeah I am sure the bull is tittering

He is.

Ashley taunted him for hours, twisting and turning this way and that, but when he threw the spear it missed and sailed harmlessly into the crowd.

What Martin Said:

Quote
Honestly, I couldn’t care less whether I get unfairly criticised. “

What people read after they used their muppet filter to interpret his words:

Quote
The fans ? Fuck em. Let those clown shoe wearing brummies spend their unemployment benefit on our cheap shirts made for 30p in China. I could not care less about them, all that matters to me is when I go home tonight I can snort a fat line of the arse of a barely legal eastern european whore"

But you're right - he does seem to prefer doing business late for whatever reason.

I wonder if he's always the last one in the canteen at luchtime, using the logic that that's when he's likely to get price reductions and/or extra portions.

I love coming on here to see what has offended people today.

The fact that a few lines taken out of context from a Daily Star journo can whip so many people into a frenzy is just laughable.
MON is paid to get players and get results, so far he has been successful on both counts.

Can't wait to see what we all get offended by tomorrow.

I don't see anyone whipped into a frenzy, just a fairly reasonable discussion (and it is a discussion board after all) from both sides about whether MON is justified in not caring what anyone thinks of his tendency to make very late signings, and whether he is right to say any critcism of it is unfair.  With hyperbole like that you too could be a Daily Star journo one day.

Our Student's have been using those skills for years in our canteen and they seem to work fairly well for them.

Brian Clough did'nt care whatever anyone else thought of his management and i'm sure the majority of other Premiership manager's don't either. It's called having a thick skin, which is a vital thing to have in today's game.

As somebody else said earlier. MON isn't fit to lace Cloughies boots. Everybody keeps going on about the similarities but forgive me if I got this wrong but didn't Brain Clough win a lot of trophies in the old First Division?

I'm not offended by what he said as I don't give a flying fuck anymore. You've heard one excuse from him and you've heard 'em all......

I for one dont really like the "could not care less" attitude we as supporters care about our club and we want to progress there is nothing wrong with that so why come out with stupid quote's like that.

Quote

This is our club martin, and we will be here long after you are gone-I find his comments typical of him, stubborn and arrogant

Enjoy everyone whos paying for tickets this season, he couldnt care less what you think....

And we don't give a fuck what you think.

I do. I'm sure I'm not the only one either because stevenjos won't be the only fan thinking this way; far from it.

As someone posted earlier it is alike buying a house in as much as there is a chain - once one starts then everything will start rolling - i would imagine the catalyst is Man City - if they stump up the cash for Milner then that will start the ball rolling

So far they have only spent their money over seas i think

I think you're right. In which case what would you do if you were in man city's shoes?

No, but he will be the only one refusing to celebrate anytime Heskey scores a goal for us.

I don't. This is a guy who refused to celebrate certain Villa goals and is now mocking people who are buying tickets for games. Even Villa Talk found him too annoying.
