Dunne at left back is just wrong

True, and I don't think Clark should play there, at the weekend he offered very little to the attack so hopefully he will replace Dunne before we lose him like we lost Cahill.

Clark looked nervous all afternoon at LB, he was sweating like a scouser in Comet

Random tangent, but for me the biggest reason for Liverpool's revival under Dalglish is that, for the first time in his career, Gerrard's manager has more stature with Liverpool and in the game generally than he does. Gerrard's been largely used in a deeper, less attacking role, liberating Raul Meireles to go forward, which he's done with more success than Gerrard's had for a couple of years. Stevie Me can't throw his toys out of the pram for playing in a less comfortable position with Dalglish around, and that's worked for them so far.

Being honest, Stevie G is the best English player i have seen in the last 40 years, and you can play him in about 5/6 roles, and he would still be the best player on the pitch.

Clark had a great game for ROI last night. Good in the air. Linked well with Damien Duff along the line. Dunney also showed well and in Fairness to James Collins he had a good game considering the weakness of the rest of the Welsh team

Really? Better than Hoddle, Sid, Gascoigne, Rooney, Robson etc? I've always thought he was a bit overrated to tell you the truth. Never really developed into much of a team player, for all his versatility.

Better than Gary Charles?  I find that hard to believe.

Not a bad game really. I've been really impressed with that Eriksen kid for Denmark in midfield, he looks quality.

The Young-to-Other-Teams-who-play-in-the-Champions-League-or-Manchester-City-and-Liverpool stories will now gather some more pace.
