1976, West Ham at home, 4-1 (or 4-0?).

Too right Ian, 4-0, a really hot and sunny day, and the taste of things to come that season with a really vibrant attacking performance. I may be confusing things here but I think it was 0-0 at half time.

From memory the crowd was decent too, certainly over 40k.

Crowd was 39012.  Scorers were Andy Gray (2) and Ray Graydon (2).

A 2-0 home win against Preston North End in August 1974. There was a bomb scare. Nobody took any notice but as a nipper, I wasn't too happy about it. It was also Ron Saunders first league game in charge.

Forest in the 90's. Drew 1-1, baking hot day, me spewing 8 pints of bitter up on the away terrace, Villa wearing black away shorts with home top (horrible combo it was). Couple of trainloads penned in at the train station for two hours and sent home again for some reason. Mate missed last train home and had to get a taxi, we got off at wrong station (Tamworth) and I can't remember how we got home to Erdington from there.
