I was quite sceptical about people's eulogising over Albrighton's crossing, but I've been really impressed so far.Better than Downing . . .

Plus I quite like Young in behind Carew thus far too. Would Keane be better in that position or not?

Allbrighton is David Bentley without the baggage and perceived bad attitude. He WILL make it, has pace, skill, ability and the mentality

Albrighton looks good.

Their left back however looks awful. His positioning is utterly abysmal.

You want to avoid them, but they can be like car accidents. You shouldn't look but you just can't help yourself. It just sucks you in.

Oh, so that's where Shorey ended up.

I'm not sure I've ever followed a match thread and felt better by the end than I did at the start, even when we've won by 3 goals or more.

I know it doesn't seem too likely at this stage, but I do hope we keep hold of NRC. He really could be such a valuable player for us as a defensive midfielder in a central three.

Good stuff from Albrighton and Clark so far, impressive.

Give it 18 months and he'll be off to Man City for 15 million ;-)
