All about the fitness lads....it's all about the fitness..

I'm not over-reacting to tonight's game. It's a friendly, most of their goals came from long range one way or the other, and we must be knackered.

It's more that I wonder how long we can keep on playing at full pelt, getting off to strong starts to the season, playing the same side each game and hiding some pretty notable deficiencies in our game. I also have a feeling that MON is losing his fight and belief a bit too.

Plus I feel a bit weary at the thought of watching us play the same style of football for another season

Absolutely everything (and there's not much of it) down the wings. Just for a change.

Preseason is preseason, but I think we can forget about MON having had any footballing Damascene conversion this summer.

No need to go over the top pete, this is no surprise to many of us who have already seen through o neill and his overrated reputation, even those who still think he's the bees knees are gradually seeing that he isn't all he's cracked up to be , and he will never get us in the top 4, mon is stuck in a timewarp and far too old school for the modern game.

At least next season we can look forward to the transfer window because I cannot see mr o neill being here this time next year, I hope I'm wrong but I just don't see him taking us higher than he has done.
