I'm failing to see, yet again, the worth in persisting with Heskey. His main strength, if it can be described as such, is meant to be the hassle he gives defenders. He hasn't done that and his nonexistent pace is embarassing.

They've fouled him about 20 times in the first half. So he is doing that job. Heskey is far from the main person to be blaming for this poor performance.

They were better than us over the course of the season and finished in the CL places, we didn't.

Also - and I find the idea of Spurs doing anything in the CL about as appealing as having molten lead injected into my eye sockets - their brand of football has more of a chance of doing something in that competition than our horrible, 1980s nonsense.
