Hope we bring our first XI on in the 2nd half.

I hope they don't bring theirs on.

scary ain't it? Interesting to see what changes are made and our response. Pre-season friendly or not, I want to see some desire and effort in the 2nd half. Try and win the 2nd half at least.

They are a different class to us to be honest. I know this is a friendly tournament but does anyone really think we could hold our own in the champions league if we had qualified?

something tells me Spurs are about to find out the same thing

i dont they have a manager who isnt stuck in 70's thinking is is Cloughie,

plus they played us off the park last season home and away!

Al least now they are winning easily, they should bring on some subs and go easy on us... so we may get a consolation goal!

I'm failing to see, yet again, the worth in persisting with Heskey. His main strength, if it can be described as such, is meant to be the hassle he gives defenders. He hasn't done that and his nonexistent pace is embarassing.

I don't think it is about effort and desire, it is the way we play which worries me. That's the limiting factor.

On the bright side, I like the look of Albrighton, and Stan is putting in a shift.

There's not a keeper on earth (well, in England) that would have stopped their third goal, but Brad looked a bit iffy for the second.

Inter? They played 4-3-3, with Eto'o and Pandev wide of Milito, Sneijder on the number 10 role and two defensive midfielders .

Why? ;-)

And got an absolute shoeing by a team not as good as the one we're playing tonight.

Certainly not with 4-4-2.

I remember Milito, Pandev and another guy up top so I guess it was 4-3-3.

Saying it as we see it.
Yes it's just a friendly, but we are just commenting on what we see on the pitch, and as it stands there were very few positives in our first half performance. It might not matter come the start of the season but in a match thread you can't expect many positive comments when the team are 3-0 down and getting completely outplayed!
