A much harder game than last night. Clearly they devised a cunning strategy to make sure Marc Albrighton is barely getting a lookin. Brad is totally exposed.

If it wasn't just a pre-season knockabout, this would be embarrassing.
As it is, it just shows how a well drilled team who can pass and move will nearly always win over a team with no creativity in midfield.

They are a different class to us to be honest. I know this is a friendly tournament but does anyone really think we could hold our own in the champions league if we had qualified?

something tells me Spurs are about to find out the same thing

I like the Coventry goalkeeper, have forgotten his name though. We could keep up our tradition of buying Coventry players and get him for about £3 million I reckon.

Kieron Westwood is it?

That's him cheers.

It is just preseason, so has to be taken with a pinch of salt, but we are doing "our thing" that we do in the season proper. Maybe not as well as we do it when we're up to scratch training wise, but that's the way we play.

Like you said, passing and movement will win out more times than not.

All Sidwell has done is pass the ball backwards.  There is nothing coming from the midfield.

Don't worry, we'll change our tune when Benfica implode.

Losing a friendly with alot of our first team missing against a side way better than us.

Poor performance but no big deal.

I thought Luke had a decent half. he certainly had a lot to do as our midfield have done fuck all to stop them attacking.
