Looks that way.

Promising as well for Albrighton, he seems to have started most games this pre-season.

possibly. How about this? So a 4-2-2-1-1 maybe?

Isn't that exactly the same as a 4-5-1 though?

Where`s Wally ? (sorry, Milner?) - injured, rested or on Moss side?

Good line up. I'm glad to see that Martin is trying to improve our play and move away from the rigid 4-4-2.

Ash could certainly step up a whole new level playing the Yorke role for us.

similar. I think we'll play 2 holding midfield players with 2 wide. Ash would be in a free role, so a more rigid 4-5-1 defensively perhaps, but a more versatile system going forward

As SoccerHQ has said a couple of times, I still fully expect us to line up 4-4-2 against West Ham.

I don't think the tests with new formations though should be dismissed. I hope/think that MON knows that something needs to change at home. It will be interesting to see our shape in the home game vs Valencia.

Me too. Good to know that another formation exists though, should we need it.
