I suppose it was a case of one or two of them being there and the rest going where their mates were established. I would also guess Portland was a decent place to spend the summer.

I've still got the programme from when we played Bournemouth away in the season we came back up under GT. I'm sure Brian Tiler wrote the chairman's notes in there. Did'nt realise he used to play for us.
