Finally over 70-68 to the American, the bastards decided to finish just as the Italy game was getting good so I missed it.

They had some ceremony at the end, felt sorry for the French bloke he just wanted to get off there.

John Isner's getting more attention over here (I'm currently in NYC) than if he'd won Wombledon. Last night he was on "Letterman" and tonight he threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Mariners @ Yankees game.

The French Open is the warm-up tournament to Wimbledon, so it counts. Fans of Kirilenko will be happy as due to Clijsters being knocked out by a 17 year old the Russian should be through to the 4th Round.
