After five games of the Super League, Catalans Dragons are neck and neck with Warrington Wolves who have both have ten points W 5 D 0 L 0. Wolves are top with ten points more scored.
I'm going to the Dragons vs Wolves game in Perpignan on 08/04 but will mostly be up the corporate bar to be honest. :-)

I probably asked you this when you were over, but does France have its own Rugby League, er, league?

They do. Toulouse are also in the English league system, they were in Super League last season. I get the impression that anyone who asks would be accepted because the RFL are so desperate to spread the game, as was shown by the Toronto franchise.

Looks like Perpignan and Toulouse have kept a presence in the French league. The geographical spread of teams is about as limited as in England I see.

Dragons 'mauled the Tigers' 22-18 yesterday. Now 2 points behind the Wolves of Warrington who have to play in Perpignan next week. FTF!

I think I was that knackered/refreshed that day that I missed that one. Note to oneself: do not go to bed at midnight, after a skinful, when you have to get up at 4am for a flight the next morning.

See they had their own version of Running with the Bulls at the Catalan Dragons v St Helens game.

Good to see The Dragons win, bet BE was happy.

Good win over St Helens, who brought 1300 fans to Perpignan.

Catalans were 0-12 down but came back to win 24-12. https://twitter.com/DragonsOfficiel/status/1654622614462033921?t=XAhI9Whw0enKa9um0H_LeA&s=19

Ha! I've just found a video on Twitter. One of the prize bulls from the recent Salon de l'Agriculture that were being paraded around the pitch decided to go for a try.

That's the video I saw that led to my comment. Brilliant stuff.

SWMBO informs me that that bull got 3rd prize at the Paris Salon de Agriculture last March. Her boss bought it (to erm, sell to erm, people in the quality meat business). Also, yes, happy with a win after three defeats on the trot.

One of my pie-eating mates from Wigan posted that on Facebook, and I wondered if you were there Daz.

No. We only go occasionally. Would have been fun though.

Third-placed Catalan Dragons currently funeralling second-placed Wigan Warriors at Wigan. BON COP DE FALÇ!

They're dirty and they're smelly
They come from Scholes and Whelley
They can't afford a telly
It's Wigan Rugby League

Little chant from Wigan Athletic to teach your French chums!
