Some of our supporters regard with great affection would be more accurate. And that is what i'm saying, only a small percentage of Villa fans would buy it. A depressingly large amount don't give a stuff about reading about Villa in the 70's. Which is shit but how it is. Look how often we have talked about former players walking on Witton Lane and virtually no one knows who they are.

If anyone can be arsed to find out who if anyone holds the rights just make them an offer and away you go.  The chances of actually making it happen via e are greater than persuading someone to actually do a print run.

Oh, and I wouldn't part with my copy of Children of the Revolution for a £1000. Whenever I'm feeling down about the Villa it is there to remind me that the darkest of days were followed by the brightest.

I've thought about that but there are a few problems with it. The main  one it's two great years at the start that have been done to death, a good one at the end that often gets overlooked and seven boring ones in the middle where nobody cared much about Villa, or football. There's just not the affection there as there is for the seventies, and the backdrop was a lot darker

Very true. In most others aspects of life apart from our club, this will probably be remembered as the most optimistic time in the history of our small island.
