When they put the signage up the Trinity all the references to Doug disappeared on the outside.

There needs to be more claret seats. Looks like Man City play there. It would also be nice to have steps going up to the upper levels like the Holte. Also a mosaic of some of our great former players adorning the exterior.

I agree with more claret coloured seats around the ground and I would welcome the addition of a 'glass' wall to lock in the noise made by the Holte End as currently the accoustics aren't good.
We will have some stadium when the new North Stand is erected.

Claret seats won't show up as much when empty as blue either.

Villa Park ain't half bas it is but I agree, a new North Stand would make some improvement.

I would like to see it names after a club luminary. We're not all that attached to the name 'North Stand' are we? The club should have a poll as to what fans would like to name the new stand.

I suggested this to the General ages ago and got short shrift.

We'd never fill it with our own supporters and would have to ask another club for help.

It would be the bigger cousin of the Fulham neutral section.

It'd collapse after a year.

As a general rule of thumb, those type of tributes don't come about when the bloke is still alive.

If we're going the name route Rinder would have to be the obvious one. A nod to the past and appreciation of his determination to keep us at the forefront of the game.

I'm sure Ron will get similar when the time comes, which is hopefully a long, long way off. There is a stand on the Witton Lane crying out for a decent name, for one.

To be fair you can only see the bottom tear which is always blue setas.  I imagine the top tear would be claret.
