Should be a good signing. We need extra batting in the expectation Trott and Bell continue to play for England.

One more would be nice.

If Woakes gets a call-up, what about a punt on Sidebottom to further enhance the bowling too?

He's rejoining Yorkshire

Bears have signed William Porterfield from Glos, not seen much of him he did top their averages last season with 531 runs from 7 matches with a top score of 175

Excellent, he's a very good player.
He's the captain of Ireland and whilst not as good a batsman as Morgan, he's not far behing I reckon.

Opener as well, so maybe Westwood can drop down the order to take some pressure off him.

That's good enough for me Dave, if you rate him

I'd say Younis Khan and Will Porterfield represent a couple of decent signings, although Porterfield's first-class average is no better than Westwood or Troughton's  Has Owais Shah signed for anyone yet?

I would like a quality bowler as well to replace Tahir. Then 'job's a good 'un'.

The Bears have signed Younus Khan for next season...........

This signing is now in doubt - Khan's lifetime ban from the Pakistan side lasted all of 4 months.

He's been recalled to their squad so if he's a success and behaves himself, we may have to look elsewhere.

Ian Westwood has resigned as captain which was inevitable, he needs to get some runs next season. Any idea's for the next captain...........

This captain looks like he knows how to use a bat...
