37 for 4. They'll be claiming the extra half an hour at this rate.

That "Man of Kent" Martin van Jaarsveld is all thats stopping us I think.......what a game Woakes has had over 80 runs and looking good for 10 wkts in the match. I would send him to Australia

Is it the pitch thats bad, or just the batting on both sides???

The BBC report on yesterday's play does not mention the pitch so I think its just bad batting

I don't think it's a nightmare pitch. I think I'm right in saying it was used for the 40-over game on Monday, so it's perhaps a day ahead of where it might be. But the conditions have been very helpful for seam and swing and these are two struggling sides so I think it was always likely to be a low scoring game. That said, Woakes (twice), Botha and Tahir have all shown what can be done if you bat positively.

Win this and, after looking odds on to go down all season, I reckon we'll probably be safe.

The Pears are spanking Surrey all over the place aswell.

Be interesting to see how arrogant, spoilt, selfish prick Pieterson gets on later.

Looking at the table today I think we have got something like only 15 batting points. The lowest by some 20 odd. But, we've won 4 as many as Durham who are half-way. And lost 9. The worst by a country mile. If we stay up this will be a fluke. our batting line-up is shit.
