Plenty of time left in the Bears and Kent game with sunshine forecast. A decent score in our 2nd innings and we'll be big favourites to win the match.

Bears doing their best to make this into a contest: 19 for 4 in their second innings. Gah.

54 for 8.  This after choosing not to enforce the follow on.

Quite. Which makes the decision to bat again even more baffling.

Oh I agree but if the pitch is as bad as it appears we're still well placed to win. Only 1 score above 33 from almost 3 innings.

On the subject of remarkable stats, I read yesterday that the Bears 10th wicket has produced more century and half-century stands this season than the 1st wicket.

We've now added 60 for the 9th wicket.

114 for 8.

Which makes the lead around 300. We should be able to defend that.......
