I've already outlined my own thoughts on it. Its not as if someone can't disagree with my opinion, its not fact.

1.  TJP:  Yes, there will be some cosmetic work done around the stadium but the North Stand will entail major work.

2.  hawkeye:  I already answered your question by a statement I made to clarify why I said what I said.  I recommend you read what I said before you stop the Season Ticket.

3.  A poll on whether this has been a good season or not???  My goodness.

4.  MODS: I will be off the site until Friday...have two board meetings to attend.  Probably will help my sanity a bit.

I know, it is incredible that on this, an independent supporters web site, there should be a poll where people can discuss whether they think it has been a good season.

It just beggars belief, doesn't it?

What do we think we are? Free to express our own opinions and (attempt to) discuss things like mature adults?

The thought of forking out £450 or so to see us hit the dizzy heights of 6th isn't inspiring

General do you agree that in a world where the likes of Huddersfield Town fans pay £450 to see their team hit the heights of 6th in League One, we have an extraordinarily good deal at VP?

I also commented that the problem wasn't only a Villa problem, but a football problem in general in this country. Check out the price of football in the bundesliga.

Because there is clearly some debate over it.

It's really not that difficult. If you've a problem with that, you are putting yourself at odds with the whole existence of this site, which is to discuss Aston Villa.

I've seen far more batty suggestions debated on here (over the course of hundreds of pages sometimes) than "have we had a good season".

Although admittedly not very often since Peter W disappeared.

Many thanks for your time and effort to respond to the good the bad , the futile and idiotic questions , all this done with good grace , at time obvious bewilderment.,

From my own view a great season , close but enough I am sure that the staff and management know ....  we are on the edge ,

not relegation , all other rubbish we have had to accept in the previous few years prior to the new owners

General, do you think that one of the reasons teams like Huddersfield have to charge such prices is because all the money in football is concentrated amongst just a few elite clubs in one elite league and doesn't filter down anywhere near enough to the grass roots?
