My Bluenose brother in law said it was all agreed, but when he turned up to sign he asked for an extra £20,000 a week. Telling him to do one is probably the single thing they've ever done that I agree with.

This is not just an anti-Blues think, but is he still a great player? I don't follow Spanish football all that closely, but if he was the player he used to be at Arsenal, would Barcelona be letting him go for as little as £5m? And would he not have better offers than a (at best) midtable PL side?

He didn’t get much of a look in at Barcelona and was loaned out last season. In my opinion he was over rated anyway although he is still of a higher standard than is normally associated with that rabble.

The only possible deal I can see us doing is Robbie Keane, so maybe. But even then I think it would mean Spurs signing a striker first. Very unlikely, but possible.

No, he's just got commitments this week interviewing new lap dancers on Broad St. Probably how he got injured in the first place! He should have said no when Big Brenda asked to sit on his knee.
