What's der big oidea with this Kevin Prince Boateng transfer?

Reports yesterday that he was on his way to Milan.

Joins Genoa today for £5 million and is loaned straight out - to Milan.
With a view to a permanent transfer.

Am I missing something?
Why don't Milan just sign him now.

Sounds very iffy to me.

Corruption in Italian football?  Surely not!!

It appears facts are still no barrier to Sky's Spurs fetish:

"Ashley Young is also expected to sign for Spurs before the transfer window closes, SkyBet are offering just 1/2 that Young joins Spurs before the transfer window closes, that’s the sort of price you would get on Spurs beating Bolton at home."

If he joins Spurs I'll be so shocked I'd probably die.

What are the odds on him NOT joining? Might take a punt

We're a selling club, remember?

We haggled with mega rich owned Man City all summer and screwed them for every filthy penny we could get for Milner so naturally we're going to sell Young to poxy Spurs for whatever pittance and insulting exchange offer they come up with at the drop of a hat.

Yeah O.K. I'm off down to the bookies to hand my money over to them in the hope that something that isnt ever going to happen, happens. Because I'm an idiot.

On the basis that Chelsea sign Neymar, what about offering to take Daniel Sturridge?

Even if its a loan deal I think he is a player! I know he is from Brum and used to be at VP but still he might be BN?

He is quick and has a bit more about his play than Gabby or Fonz!

Not neccesarliy the proven Goalscorer we are all hoping for but as a selling club with no cash a decent option?

Sturridge is English, and he'll be in Chelsea's PL 25. He's done well when given a chance, and they would charge way too much for him. Besides he wouldn't come anyway.

It's actually worse than that, you can't place a bet that he will stay. It's a rip-off market for mug punters and should be illegal.

I don't think for a second that Young will leave, but if he did, it'd be a huge kick in the nadgers.  I'm disappointed to lose Milner, but accept it as we have royally fleeced Man City, and in Ireland we have a replacement player who I feel could be just as important for us.

But for whatever reason, I just feel more strongly about keeping Young.  Maybe because on his day he's our most exciting player.  Maybe because he was the first signing under Lerner and O'Neill that showed real ambition.  Anyway, I think we'd find it impossible to replace him (unless Spurs give us an equally stupid deal such as Lennon plus £15m which is unlikely).

But I don't think we will anyway.  Hope not anyway.

I'd totally forgotten about that bloke.  Which says a lot about young English players moving to Chelsea.

Did well when he came on in the Charity Shield game. Don't know if he featured against West Brom but I think Uncle Carlo will give him enough game-time.

As he's under 21 and 'homegrown' he doesn't need to be in the 25 as he can be one of the extra players.

Don't see the point in him anyway as I'd rather give our own kids a game ahead of another club's.

I would want a good long look to make sure we didn't get another Sidwell

Heskey to Leicester? Surely they wouldn't want him when Francis Jeffers is avialable!!
