Ye totally agree. We still need a top striker. Nothing has changed. On loan or spend some of the sponsorship money. I am sure the Fonz can make an impact in certain games. But this is the premiership and an experienced "predator" is needed. Still say Keane is our man .............

We've got Gabby, Carew, Heskey, Fonz and to a lesser extend Weimann and Young trying to fill one position in our current formation.  I don't think it'd be wise to get another striker in unless we can ship a few out, besides our strongest position is now probably the attacking midfielder position so it makes sense to play with a formation that utilises what players we have rather than buy more.

But the reason we need anoher striker is because of our lack of cutting edge and because of how well set up teams have been able to figure us out. Sure the likes of Carew and Gabby do fairly well, and Delfonso is a good prospect, but clearly we need a little bit more than that right now.

I'm guessing you and Randy are tight, and he's told you that has he? Maybe you flew with him and the kids to Milan. This all despite what KM said today at the airport that they'd be looking at things in the transfer market again very soon.

What's der big oidea with this Kevin Prince Boateng transfer?

Reports yesterday that he was on his way to Milan.

Joins Genoa today for £5 million and is loaned straight out - to Milan.
With a view to a permanent transfer.

Why don't Milan just sign him now.

Sounds very iffy to me.

Genoa hoping to make a profit on him. If he does the business at Milan they'll stump up more cash next summer. If he doesn't, he'll just go back to Genoa. Not sure why Milan didn't just go in for him first. Dodgy Italian club officials and brown envelopes may have been involved. Or sexual favours if Berlusconi had 'owt to do with it.

Giampaulo Pazzini would fill our number 9 shirt very nicely. Just watching him play for Samdoria against Bremen at the moment. Good movement off the ball, scored a fair few over the last 2 seasons and just coming into his peak age too!
