They say they want to bring down the wage bill which is fair but we have signed a massive deal with FX pro, Seat, Heineken, sold 29,000 season tickets, We finished 6th last season and got to Wembley twice!

Where is the money?

Also Harewood, Shorey, Milner & Bouma are off the wage bill and we have sold Miler at a profit so why can't that money be put into the team?

Our wage bill last season was 85% of turnover, Randy wants to get it down to 60%. Our turnover has increased due to the sponsorships meaning that the 60% is going to be closer to where we were anyway. I would guess that RL didn't want to see anymore Marlon Harewood's seeing out their contract and leaving without really being a part of the squad and having no value at all, that's fair enough for me. I fully expect money to be made available if required.

Rumours up here that he might not be the only former Villain to be moving to Parkhead in some capacity. Indeed, I was accosted by someone in the street who mentioned it earlier today.

Currently, his first choice back four will presumably be:

Angeleri, Turner, Mensah, Richardson

Which leaves:

Onuoha, Bramble, Kilgallon, McCartney, Bardsley, Al-Muhammadi, Nosworthy, Ferdiand and Da Silva as defenders left on the books.
