RE Young I think it is unlikely he'll go unless Spurs offer us something ridiculous or the new manager didn't fancy him. I do fully expect Henry to inquire though.

Lichaj's new contract is quite significant - three years is pretty medium term. This almost certainly means he's due for some games this season, which is fine by me as he seems a perfectly good young full back.

Correct. Registration is done by stage of the tournament.

That sounds a good shout, might go to Celtic though. Probably won't go anywhere if we are to get a new manager in the next week until he arrives. Didn't Sven pick Heskey on a regular basis?

Was it just last Christmas that he was supposed to be off to Liverpool? I still think he could be a great signing for us and it's a shame we didn't shift Sidwell and Young sooner as MON could have used Heskey as makeweight for Jones. Lots of what ifs there tho.
