Agree with this. The departure of MON before the end of the year would not surprise me at all, and unless we can pick up a few unexpected new players sharpish, I would put a lot of money on it.

I am not stalking you east19 but I think Pornodwarf is being very clever.Parker will have to throw in a transfer request to move.That way the board dosen't get the blame and saves paying a bonus.

I think that is what everyone is supposed to think, but if the player were to go public with a transfer request then a deal would be back on the cards. Parker only has to come out and say he wants to stay at West Ham...which of course he hasn't, because he's keeping his options open for now.

I reckon uncle woy might be looking closer to home at maybe Ireland or barry- I can't see how west ham could sell Parker and save face but if they did they would want between £15 and £20m - out of reach unless man city want to add to the collection

Just to clarify official policy here, the key dates for "villa sign nobody (in foreign language)" jokes are as follows:

Aug 2nd - French (enquiries regarding correct spelling to Bad English, by July 31st at latest, please)
Aug 9th - Italian
Aug 16th - German
Aug 23rd - Portugese (thanks as ever to Mark Kelly for invigilating this session)
Aug 30th - all other languages.
