Not convinced by mcgeady at all but then again how many of us agreed with the fee we paid at the time for Ashley young?

Possibly if he didn't play for the Republic O' Ireland.

To say I really don't rate McGeady is something of an understatement. I like wingers who can cross like our current two but McGeady can't. He tries to trick and beat men which is all well and good against the defenders you will find in a second rate league like the SPL but against the defenders you find in the EPL it won't work.

Maloney is a better player for me. If he's fit that is something he has resolutely failed to be since he left us. Also, McGeady will cost many times what we spent on Maloney.

Now I may sound like I have brained me damage when I say this but the one I really like is McCourt. He has lots of skill and would be very, very cheap.

You're right about the price,but he still wasn't good enough. I really hope all this McGeady talk is just the papers putting two and two together. I hope i dont have to eat my words,but we always get depressed this time of the summer and it hasnt turned out too bad in the past.
