I have to say some pretty reasonable players have moved so far.

Its not really summer until greg wheels out his super-shitty-to-the-max transfer race tediometer.

Just where will Villa rank? Fascinating.

Free transfer wasn't it ?

The likes of Foster are easy moves, we tend to go for players the selling clubs have to be 'persuaded' to sell, look at how long it took us to get Warnock and Downing

it may well be tedious, but when you think this summer we're trying to sell or have dumped nearly 30m worth of players, or basically 2 summer's transfer budget then the fact he invariably buys late and often bobbins could be a telling factor in our moves this summer :0)

Nobody let smudger anywhere near negotiations and player acquisitions.

Agreed, good lord. £8 million for Jamie O'Hara?! Doyle? no thanks.

Well, opinions are like Arseholes, everybodys got one. I suppose some of you lot genuinely think that we should be going for and have a chance of getting Oezil, David Villa and co. These are the sort of players that will be coming, and personally i reckon that squad would be an improvement on last seasons at not much cost. Have you not learnt anything from the last 4 years? If you reckon O'Hara would cost less, even better.

Between Villa and O'Hara there is some sort of happy medium.

just common sense . not many clubs can afford to offload 6 or 7 players at a loss and it not having an effect on the club's budget. certainly not us, and probably why milner will be sold

O'Hara isn't good enough and neither is Doyle. I've learnt from the last four years that we need to try and take gambles on potentially higher quality players rather than steady players if we are going to threaten the top four. O'Hara, Doyle etc will just consolidate what we have.
