What do you mean "real people"?

I'm guessing that it means you're some sort of shop mannequin.

Either that or Pinocchio. Maybe you get to become a real boy when you admit that James Milner is leaving.

Or something.

Well if he's going it would be silly not to
a) Get Ireland in exchange and
b) Do our shopping first so we dont get mugged.

I've more or less resigned myself to it.

But I also don't 'know' it either. Far be it for me to doubt those posters who are quite clearly part of James Milner's inner circle though.

I don't know if he's off or not. I suspect he will be, but hope he isn't.

However, I'd bet a large wedge on (b) not being the case.

Link in the Mail to Eduardo of Arsenal. Now, not getting excited because that newspaper has the credibility of the Nigerian passport authorities, but he'd be a very welcome player indeed if he can be helped to overcome the mental issues he's clearly had since that injury.

Certainly would. Also I can't imagine the player has much fondness for Blouse, so he'd fit in like a natural.

Eduardo would be a great signing, if he would just manage to stay healthy. Just the kind of striker we need the most in this situation. We have pace in Gabby, size in Carew and Heskey but we lack that player who has a slightly different football IQ, someone who can do some unexpected things (in a positive way :D) up front.

Also, I read that we are lining up Parker and Barnetta, for £14m. Of which Parker would cost something like £10m, according to newspapers. That made me laugh. Just how can a defensive midfielder who has a good tackling ability but quite poor football IQ going forward be valued 2.5 times more than a creative midfielder who plays regularly in top German club and is also a regular starter for Switzerland (which is one of the best European teams nowadays by the way).

Parker -> no! Too similar to Petrov and I'm not sure if he is even better than him

Barnetta -> hell yeah! We need creative midfielders

parker would be a step up in class from petrov in my opinion.

Eduardo, Barneta and Parker wouldn't be bad for starters. In not entirely convinced Eduardo can cut it in the Prem, and particularly now since that injury, he's a tendancy to out fanny even Downing. But he is a classy player though.

Parker I like. Gets his foot in, keeps on running, can drive a team on, and rarely wastes a pass.

I really am not convinced about Parker. He sure had a good last season but the reason why he stood out and shone could well have been because the rest of the basically team s****d out loud. It's always the same thing with struggling teams: one player in in a decent form while the rest struggle and all of a sudden the player looks like a world-beater. To me he has always been a 'poor man's Xabi Alonso'. In this situation, with Spurs and ManC also pushing forward really hard, we need proven top quality signings.

There's three class of players: 1) Intertoto-caliber (Salifou) 2) Europa-League caliber (Parker) and 3) Champions League caliber :D We desperately need at least a couple of no 3's right now :)
