Agree that I'd much rather have Walcott and think Wenger might be tempted and hopefully the player too. He's not exactly guaranteed a start at Arsenal.

Gabby and Walcott up top would give players like Ireland and Young floating about in midfield a hell of a lot of room, just from how deep you’d have to defend. Unless you’re Bolton of course where you’d play your annual suicidal highline against us.

It's no more statistics than a game of Championship Manager is. It's what their people think a variety of players are worth. And they are more often than not massively wrong.

They value Delfouneso at £1.25m and Heskey at £4.5m.

They value Milner at £15.3m and Barry at £16.5m

They value Vedran Corluka at £13.5m and Gareth Bale at £5.85m.

They value Jamie Carragher at £15.3m and Gary Cahill at £5.25m

They might as well be playing some ridiculous transfer market version of pin the tail on the donkey.

Quite suprised to see we have one of the oldest squads too at average of 27.6 yrs old, although I guess Brad Snr skews that a bit

One thing that isn't their own opinion is the agew thing and I'm slightly worried about our squad being the 7th oldest.  I don't think the starting 11 is a problem, but I would like to see the players shipped out replaced with younger versions.

Yes me too. Though Bouma and Harewood, and probably Salifou, have already gone, and that'll bring the age down a bit.

Ship out Luke Young, Shorey, Sidwell and Heskey to boot.

I'm pretty sure the likes of Fonz, Clark, Albrighton, Gardner 2, Weimann etc could be more useful than some over the older donkeys we have. For starters they'll have a bit of youthful exuberance.

I think most of us real people on here know hes gone. Its just getting the right price for Villa.     I was gutted at first when I heard but when I heard what the fee could be, it softened the blow.
