you don't think someone who's not as good as allbrighton would be worth a bit more ire than "not what i wanted" think of all that money in wages he's going to cost us.

come on john, he's signed a really rubbish player, try to care.....

edit: imagine his wages stopped us buying Keane

I'll leave the over reaction to you and just try to keep my head while all around me are losing theirs.

sorry john but when you describe a possible signing in as harsh as terms as i've managed with Keane and yet you'll just go "oh well" if he signs, it just smacks of not having an opinion you're prepared to stick with if it conflicts with the managers

You don't have to apologise to me - I'm sure it's all down to E numbers, radio masts, or something!

In your limited little world I'm sure it does, but then if you can't see the difference between 'Oh well - he must be good if Martin wanted him" and "Not who I wanted, but lets give the bloke a chance to prove me wrong" then there's no hope for you.

Yeah, come on John, then you can be a real supporter like greg.

(Albeit a Chelsea supporter).

heh. the old "there's no-one better" arguement. last rolled out Jan 2009

Go on then, get your scrap book out and come up with a name.

we've come out with loads on this thread and elsewhere. unless you know MON's transfer budget how can you possibly say there's no-one better?

I haven't said that there isn't anyone better, that's just your own perculiar bit of spin. I said:

"If there was a younger, cheaper, better alternative then I'd probably prefer him but for all the millions of words you've spouted you have failed to offer a realistic, credible suggestion."

Droopy chops saying that Joe Cole has already agreed a deal with Man United.

If he has then what right does he have to say that? Cole and Man United have chose to keep it quiet.

Redknapp has always been qyuick to talk about other teams and tap their players up-if it were the other way round he'd be the first to moan.

He's been on Talksport telling them what he'd do as an England manager for the last few weeks too

Why doesn't he just go down Southend for the summer and give us all a rest

Luis Suarez AND Robbie Keane would leave me satisfisfied with our front line.

I can see Suarez being gettable. Pull your finger out MON.

Does anyone know where he is at the moment? MON, that is.

He did the same when asked about buying Baros  - he claimed that he had already signed for us - cockney fucking wanker

As for using Scottish scoring records - would you want Hartson or any of the others that have broken records up there yet never heard of here?

MON - i thought he would be part fo the BBC panels but obviously not

I have never rated keane TBH but if the price is right i would at least give him a chance with MON as i do feel they are made for each other

And as for our youngsters - when will they ever get a chance?  Even if they came in and tore the prem apart MON would still stick with the tired and tested first XI it must be very frustrating for Fonz / Albrighton

M'ON has already said they will get their chance in the Europa this season.  They must take their chance like Gabby did, he made himself undroppable.  When I've seen Fonz play I've never thought he's played well enough to command more opportunity than he is getting.

Well we can rule out Martin Petrov. Some big club called Bolton have snapped him up.

Bolton sign Martin Petrov from Manchester City
Martin Petrov
Petrov made only 10 Man City appearances under Mancini

Bolton Wanderers have announced that Manchester City midfielder Martin Petrov will join the club on a free transfer on 1 July.

The 31-year-old was out of contract at Eastlands and was told in June that he would not be offered a new deal by manager Roberto Mancini.

Left-sided Petrov was signed by former City boss Sven Goran Eriksson from Atletico Madrid for £4.7m in 2007.

The Bulgarian international made 66 appearances for City, scoring 12 goals.

Petrov, who was Bulgarian Footballer of the Year in 2006, has previously played for German club Wolfsburg.

He has also made 77 appearances for Bulgaria, scoring 19 international goals.

I didn't really want him, but atleast his signing would suggest MON was up for using the squad more.
