He didn't play well that season, but showed potential, and we were his third loan club in as many seasons.
He's got his head down at West Ham, dropped his partyboy lifestyle and developed his game. When I've watched him, I've been impressed with his all round game and I think he'd improve what we've got. OK?

I don't think there's any doubt that carlton Cole is a better player now than when he was with us on loan, but whether he's now good enough to to be what we need is another question.  

Personally, I don't think he is.
