The only Spurs player I would take is Wilson Palacios. I wouldn't touch the others.

I think it's a shame Davies is being sold. I rate him as highly as I rate Collins and if Cueller is to remain at full back I would throw Curtis in with Richard Dunne.

Palacious is shit. He's a walking penalty. He's others nothing more than Reo Coker, and has the same limitations.

I be back when we reach 500 pages maybe then MON will be thinking of signing someone, after letting 5 players go and no right back.

Where does NRC think he's going to go? Ambitious club down south?

Maybe he fancies himself along side Fabregas.

Some one should tell him Blackpool is in Lancashire

I’d have Keane. Movement and craft in his play and likely to bag 10 plus.

We already have two players who do that. We need a 15+ goal machine.

Keane could. Generally he hits around the 15-20 mark. Given the amount of games he'd play here, he'd certainly score plenty.

BUT, for anymore than 5 mill? No thanks.

We have two (unless you mean league only).

Add Keane and we'd have 3.

I do think he's not the player he was, but I think the Celtic move got him back on song again. Moving to Liverpool was a mistake, as was going back to Spurs with tail between legs. He could well flourish at Villa (fucking finally).
He's got a brain, and knows how to finish. He's not as quick as he was but we have enough pace elsewhere to compensate.

I'd like a younger, better forward, but is there one out there available we could attract? Probably not. Heskey out, Keane in, would represent a marked improvement. Plus, he could play with either JC or Gabby.

We need a third striker who can get 10 + league goals as Heskey contributed a laughably bad three league goals last season and two of them came against Burnley.

Nope. we need somene who will make gabby or carew our 3rd striker and  Keane ain't it. forget Heskey, he's not worth figuring into the equation.

We need a Keane kind of player, but as Richard said earlier i fear that he is burnt out.

Jenas is a better player than both NRC and Sidwell, so depending on what his price is, would'nt be too bad.

Would'nt surprise me if we go for Walcott.

Walcott was always seen as a striker in his early days. It's his preferred position too.
I actually think under Martin O Neill, Walcott could actually reach his potential. Would be a great signing if we could pull it off, but I suspect Arsene will keep hold, continue playing him out of position, and using him as a squad player.

And you think our Martin will do any different?
He'll be on the bench and when he does play, it'll be right back!
