NRC comes across as one of those footballers who think they're much, much better than they actually are.

I can see why he can be useful in stiffening up the midfield with his willingness to put a foot in, and make himself awkward, but I think he sees himself as a latter day Bryan Robson, whereas most observers see him as a fundamentally flawed footballer - can't pass to save his life, can run a bit, but not towards any useful end.

Still, he points a lot and does good pre-match huddle.

I agree. But then I am not a fan. He can run and he can tackle. So can I....

Didn't realise NRC only had one year left on his contract, that's not good as we'd only get a couple of million for him if we sell in January.

curtis davies should be kept at all costs imo.i think he can become a top top centre half and was playing really well before the injury.

The frustrating thing is (and this is just my opinion) we will end up selling Rio Coker for say £3m and buy a player with similar attributes for £8m. If we sell Davies for £4-5m we will replace him for someone £10m who is no better.

Keep both of them and USE them. Rio has something to offer the squad but MON either knows better or can not let bygones be bygones. As for getting rid of Davies, sheer madness. The guy is still young and has proven, when playing next to the right player, is an outstanding defender who should only get better. Richard Dunn could be the player to bring out the best of Davies


The rest of the list are dross and should be sold ASAP.

The only Spurs player I would take is Wilson Palacios. I wouldn't touch the others.

I think it's a shame Davies is being sold. I rate him as highly as I rate Collins and if Cueller is to remain at full back I would throw Curtis in with Richard Dunne.

Oh, and Carlton Cole is another player who comes across like that.

Maybe it is a West Ham thing.

Whereas in real life he is anything but.

I would have said that Carlton's problem was not believing he was as good as he actually was. I think he may be getting over it, which is why I'd buy him.
