Well at this rate we are going to have to put a stunning performance in against West Ham. Because if things don't go our way, it could get pretty ugly. I was trying to think of a less enjoyable summer/preseason for Villa in recent times, and I am struggling.

I'm not depressed, actually. I will be if he situation is like this at the end of August, but as things stand I've seen no reputable links to McGeady, plenty of reputable ones to Keane and Ireland (both of whom I rate), and there have been plenty of promising performances from the youngsters as well. Time for sanity.

Monty surely you're picking what you decide are reputable links, M'ON has even spoken about McGeady.
