It really is a depressing thought. Feel free to really tear into us. We've sat and battered Heskey all summer for stealing Benty's seat on the plane to SA and now this in the same week that Shambles has rocked up in Sunderland. Reliable posters have pm'd a couple of posters on the smb and eventually, it's worked it's way onto the main board. I fully expected Jones to be away but this Heskey replacement news makes me feel sick tbh.

Actually, he might be quite good for Sunderland. Their whole style of play is geared around Bent getting goals, and loads of good finishers from Owen to Rooney have praised Heskey's selflessness, his work ethic and his awareness of how to play in a partnership. This may just work out for him.

It's just because we had our fun last week when Celtic signed Daryl Murphy. The sunderland forums were celebrating his departure for a good 24 hours, tearing into celtic at the same time. It's our turn now. First with Shambles and now our good friend, Ivanhoe.
