I quite like Kalinic, a nice touch, quite physical, holds the ball up well, a nice "link" player.

I think Carroll will be a real handful in the Prem, and would'nt be a bad purchase either. Both 22/23?

Ireland or Dorrans , with a Micah Richards kind of RB.

Need a Hleb kind of player as well/

Sell Sidwell, NRC, LYoung, Shorey, Carew, Heskey, Cuellar.

Hart
Bent
Lee
N'Zogbia

That'll do fine.

Lee and N'Zogbia would be good squad additions.

Hart is nailed on to stay at the sty though isn't he?

Bent I would love, but think it is unlikely. I would take Keane if  and put a 10 million offer in for Santa Cruz.

Can we find a striker who is willing to smack the ball from more than four yards out please?

I'm sure if they got into the Champions League, they might want to keep Joe. But, saying that, he's a number one goalkeeper now and I know he wouldn't be happy sitting on the bench."

He added: "Joe sees himself very much as a number one goalie now and it would probably devastate him if he has to sit on the bench next season.

Unlikely that Money City would be so generous as to sell a decent asset to a European-place rival. Hell, they're so paranoid they won't even let him stay at the Noses!

But as soon as you have a player used to starting every week who suddenly is on the bench (particulaly when he is on the verge of becoming a regular England squad member) he's likely to get uppity pretty quickly.

Particularly if he's better than the player starting ahead of him (as would be the case for Hart).

Out:

Reo-Coker - £5,000,000
Harewood -£400,000
Salifou - £100,000
Shorey (heard he's already signed for Ollbeyun) £2,000,000m
Sidwell - £3,500,000
Guzan - On loan for the season
Delfouneso - On loan for the season
Heskey - £2,000,000

In - around about £13,000,000

In:
Parker - £4,000,000
Owen - £2,000,000
Bent - £15,000,000
Bullard - £2,500,000
Richards - £ £6,500,000
Hart - £8,000,000

Total spending: £38m
Net Spend of £25m

A big ask for Randy to find that much, but if I was Martin O'Neill that is what I would be asking for.

That said, would spending £25m make us any closer to getting top 4 or would we need to spend that just to stand still?

I agree completely, and I rate Hart highly, but what a player wants and what his club wants are two different things. In fact it'll be interesting to see how City deal with the summer - there are bound to be a few of their squad surplus to requirements and how Mancini deals with that will be important.

£25m to give Martin some options on the bench? No thanks.

Good choices... Maybe scratch N'Zogbia and add a defensive midfielder and that would do well.

I only just found out Lee was only 21. I thought he was older than that.

why would we want two players way past their best and guaranteed to be injured for most of the year?

That list would take us backwards, as would getting rid of MON
