Interesting race till now, but same old issue that now they can't pass each other as they are so closely matched in power. Silly really. Need to do something that gives a thrust through to overtake and increases a little risk!!

No rain = no overtaking= big yawn.

The most expensive procession in the world.

Lewis went from 20th to 6th; so he overtook plenty.

For the first race of the season this was definitely true. Not so last week, and even this week was quite good for the first half of the race.  The podium places were processional, but behind them there was plenty going on...

It's going to be a very close season.

Just got back. Exciting first 6-7 laps or so (I was perhaps somewhat tipsy, however, so a bit difficult to keep up) and an OK first half of the race. From the mid-point onwards we were hoping for rain...

Looking forward to Turkey at the weekend.

I just don't think the McLaren package is as competitive as it's been made out to be and that error on Button's car at Monaco was unbelievably stupid for what is supposed to be a highly professional team.

I just think the Red Bull's have the edge. I do think Vettel will have the edge over Webber in the end.

It is going to be incredibly boring if the red bulls have simple march all the way now. McClaren, despite being poor last season, don't seem to have the corner speed to stay with the others and are always trying to bring it back on the straight. Without Kers, and without rain, overtaking is near on impossible at the front. Could become boring.

And Vettel is as annoying and German as Schumacher was all those years ago, and I fear will cheat just as much if he has a sniff.

Really?

I like Vettel. He is not (yet) a whinge-machine like most F1-drivers.

Webbers on pole again, lets hope Lewis can get to the first corner first.

That might be just the thing McLaren needed to get back into the championship.

I think ozzjim might have a point about Vettel.

Vettel thinks he has a divine right to bully Webber and be on pole every week. He doesn't, and is very rash. Today he seemed to expect Webber to let him dance through, and although hot headed at times Webber did nothing but keep it on the road.

Button and Hamilton showed how to overtake etc with each other and not take the other out. People aliken Vettel to Schumacher all the time, and he seems to have a similar ability to mash his car into others, but this season he has the best car, and has pushed it too hard at times and killed it too often where Schumacher used to make it count.

Prophetic call ozzjim, considering the events of the Turkish GP last night. Impetuous over-taking move doesn't look like coming off, so he slams into Webber who was holding his line. Vettel then walks away from his car twirling his finger around his ear. He has showed no respect to his team-mate before, during or after the race.

But what gets me is Red Bull's reaction, which is to blame Mark. Vettel only caught him because Webber was in fuel saving mode, and Vettel was not because he was slip-streaming while Mark was leading. Webber should have been allowed to keep him lead, rather than being punished for using up his fuel while leading a frenetic race!

Anyway, certainly makes for a spicy Championship.
