An angry Zola, however, criticised the timing of the revelation, coming just 24 hours before West Ham take on Birmingham, and said: "I think the article should have been done at another time, not just before a match. It would have been better to say that at another time and maybe talk to us before talking to a newspaper. That is my feeling."
I can't believe how much I dislike Gold and Sullivan already. Your first few weeks are supposed to be an amazing time of optimism and false promise. They just seem intent on ruining morale, playing games in the press and generally making absolute penises of themselves. It's bizarre all round. I never really minded the professional silence the old regime had that annoyed so many. Much, much preferable to this shambles. I can't believe these guys actually ran a football club fairly innocuously before. Pretty much every move they've made so far has been clumsy and amateurish.
You've got to feel sorry for them.

Quote from: "Mark Fletcher"Quote from: "Mark Kelly"You've got to feel sorry for them.Nope.They hate Spurs more than we do. In fact, they're laughing at Redknapp as SSN have just put Spurs top of the league... for the long ball game:1..........Spurs......... 17692..........Liverpool.... 16143..........Wigan........ 1526Not sure if those numbers reflect yards or hoofs. Just found out it's number of passes made over 50 yards. Apparently Redknapp denied it all.
"Already members of the administrative staff have come to us and said, 'look we know we are overpaid for the job we do but we are good people and we'd like to stay and we are prepared to take a voluntary wage cut'." I wonder how many members of the administrative staff actually said this?
