Could fluctuate between both within the same movement.

But I loved him.

I personally loved him, I think he had the potential to be alot better than he was, my little brother is even nicknamed Savo as he had it on the back of his shirt when he was a very small child, so much that their are only a handful of people who actually know his real birth name lol, he is Savo to his family, Savo to his mates and he was even Savo to his teachers at school and now to his employers! BOOM BOOM BOOM LET ME HERE YA SAY SAVO! SAVOOOOOOOO!

I liked him, good footballer and leader of the line with that little spark of Eastern European unpredictability

We'll always have Wembley '96 and for that alone I'll have a soft spot for the bloke.

Just a pity it ended as it did.

With a bit more mental resolve and adapdability he could have been one of our all time greats. As it was, he was a very good footballer that we never quite got the best out of.

We did see flashes though.

Seen an interview when he was at Zaragoza or Parma and he was very complimentary about the club, even the fans believe it or not.

In contrast to Collywobbles, who was supposedly a boyhood fan but seemingly got no joy playing for us. Seems we were a huge letdown after all his trophy-laden (?) years playing at Liverpool, alongside world-class talent like Razor Ruddock, Mark Wright, Phil Babb and Jason McAteer.

Scored the best goal ever seen at Wembley.
