My Mum passed away today, she was 82. She followed Villa from the 3rd Division days, until the mid 90s when she and my aunt and uncle all succumbed to the usual ailments old people suffer.
From standing in the Witton and Holte End to seats in the Trinity, her unique view of games both amused and baffled me, and I suspect many others!
I love you, Mum, RIP.
