That said, whilst all contributions are gratefully received, we have introduced a minimum to guarantee GM status - especially after we had somebody donate a £1 - which after paypal deductions worked out at about 75p.

Whilst we are grateful for all donations, the whole idea is to support the site and keep it running.  If you want to see it kept running then make a donation that helps towards it, rather than just to "get the badge".  In the meantime, contributing fully to all debates and joining in is acceptable.

Martin@ardenley his is username not his email address. he wouldn't have got an email addressed to martin@ardenley.  You'd need a .co.uk or a .com at the end.  Even if that is his email addy.  You need to PM him
