Giants defeat the Mets to claim the NL Wild Card spot

Playoffs now line up

AL - Toronto v Texas, Boston v Cleveland

NL - San Francisco v Chicago, Los Angeles v Washington

Bumgarner was excellent in the Wild Card game. If he keeps that form going, the Giants could win (it is an even year, after all)

I said to a mate of mine I wouldn't be surprised if we strolled the playoffs and won the WS with ease, or got swept by anyone with ease. We're a very streaky team and when we're on it we can take anyone apart. When we're not we look awful. I still wouldn't be surprised if we win the whole thing, or bow out meekly getting battered 10-1 for a sweep by Cleveland.
