Which sites do you use for news? MLB.com? Also, are we pretty much restricted to MLB.tv for matches? We have BT Sport at home which shows a few games but other than hookey streams, does anywhere else show games?

A MLB.com subscription will get you all games. BT/ESPN show a lot of games in the summer

Thanks for that. I had read the same regarding mlb.com, will see how it pans out with BT/ESPN - hopefully they'll still have the rights to show games next season.

I don't have any particular allegiance to a team but mrs is a Blue Jays fan and I enjoy the game. Seems v.technical and the wildcard and postseason organisation looks impenetrable!

Grienke would have been a good fit for the Cubs I think, but a 6 year contract at $34m a year might have put them off.
