The idea that the handball was payback for the ‘career ending tackle on Shane Long’ is interesting considering Shane Long was, in the end, out for just 3 weeks!

Anyone with a brain thought that we were good value for a 2-1 win and admitted that they got lucky.
Forgive me if i am wrong but i am more or less certain the butchers of Sandwell more or less ended the career of John Woodward .They crippled him in a match at the Hawthorns and he was never the same again
I think one of Alex Cropleys family members has posted on here in the past, can’t remember if it was his son or noti can also remember Andy Grays son coming in for a short whiledon’t know if any other family members of players have been openly on apart from our friend Frank Moss of course
