He has just sat on bench watching Rowe cause Cash all kinds of trouble.  Then comes on and dangles a leg

It was poor from Bailey but Rowe mugged off every Villa player he came up against all game. We've raved about Cash all season but he was done time and time again.

He'll be gone in summer, pathetic tonight but not remotely surprising, should be nowhere near the squad. Surely Elliott or Garcia could play there.

Elliot and Garcia will be gone in the summer too. Emery left Luiz on the bench for some unknown reason instead.

Hopefully Bailey goes in the summer, permanently. Right now, I’d take 3-5 mill for him just to cut our losses. Sell him to a promoted team, get rid.

Rowe may have done what he did regardless of that change. As PWS said he was causing havoc all night and it was quite incredible how he hadn’t scored already.

Cash has been brilliant this season and was made to look awful so I’m not too sure why Bailey’s getting Pelters. To be honest, it was a strange sub by the boss.

Was just about to interrupt the two minute hate to say the same thing.

He did (not a defender) Bailey with the exact same drop of the shoulder that he did to Cash, Konsa and Onana twice each across the 90 minutes.

The shot that went in could just as easily have happened from the dozen or so that he'd tried before.

I’d just call it quits and cancel baileys contract as soon as feasible.
An utter waste of time and money except for half a season when his best mate was here.

Maybe his dad can get him a move to Barca ?

Luiz doesn't play right wing?

McGinn moved inside to accommodate Bailey. Leave McGinn where he was and switch in Luiz instead. That was the obvious change.

Bailey probably starts the return leg. McGinn unlikely to start three games in a week.

I like Leon, but Christ almighty, I’ve ran out of patience now hoping he’ll come good again.
Not gonna happen…. Leon plus a few quid for that Rowe fella? Looked lively!
