Nice this from stand in Spurs boss Ryan Mason tonight after the win v Soton "It's been a busy day at the club, it's also four years to the day since Ugo Ehiogu passed so I want to dedicate that to him and his family - everyone at the club still remembers and thinks of him".

Jesus Christ, four years already? RIP Ugo.

Mason was one of the three Spurs shithouses that combined to get Benteke sent off in 2014. Not that I'm bitter, mind...

However, after his kind words re Ugo, I have decided to reduce his punishment (when I become World President) to a custodial sentence. I may even have him put in the same block as Blair, Cameron and Johnson!

I still smile at how the PA announcers at away grounds struggled to pronounce his name, especially in the early days when he was a young substitute and not well known. A lot of them just bottled it and mumbled something that sounded slightly like they thought his name should sound.

Was watching a game from early 2000s the other day on the Vilaboy channel and Ugo and Jloyld were both starting.

Unbelievable to think we've lost both of them in last 5 years. And Dalian of course.

My initial nickname for him was the Villain from Batfink. Was’nt a million miles away.
