It would be nice if we did something at VP but as was shown with the attendance for the SGT game, we don't tend to turn out much for such games.

Good point. I do think a proper Villa v Celtic pre season match would pull in a decent crowd though. They'd probably fill half the ground on their own

I still shudder every time i think about the woeful attendance for Sid's testamonial though

I think that's the only testimonial I've ever been to.  Crowd did seem a bit small, what was it, 3 or 4 thousand?

about that, and against Stoke. no wonder it was a crap attendance
