Does anyone else think Barry Hawkins looks a bit like Paul McGrath?

No but Steven Reid does

The O'Sullivan-Trump Semi is basically the Final. I reckon whoever wins will trounce Hawkins/Walden about 18-5.

For the first time in years I watched some of the snooker last night (Hawkins v Walden)

In one frame all the reds ended up in one corner and after about 30 minutes they opted for a re-rack.

In the other frame, all the reds somehow ended up on the balk side of the blue.

Two of the most bizarre frames of snooker I've ever seen.

As other have mentioned, neither of these two should trouble the winner of Trump v O'Sullivan

I'm currently watching the Hawkins v Walden semi.

It is, without a doubt, the worst snooker match I have ever witnessed.

You've obviously never seen a Peter Ebdon match.

By worst I meant of the poorest quality. After about 13 frames Hawkins highest break was 36 yet he was only 2 frames behind (I'm not sure if he has broken that 36 after 16 frames, I turned it off, it really was quite embarrasing).

Ebdon's matches are just slow and boring.

It's certainly the worst world semi final I've ever seen. How these two got to that stage is quite beyond me. Trump or O'Sullivan will win win it with a session to spare whichever one gets through.

I remember O'Sullivan in a final about 10 years or so ago.  Not sure who he was playing (Dott?) but we went quite a few frames behind and then turned it on in the final two sessions and ran out a relatively easy winner.  I'm still convinced he was letting him get a lead so his odds would go out and he could then bet a wedge on himself.

Look for something similar if he's in this year's final against Walden or Hawkins.

This finals been brilliant so far. Hawkins would be beating any other player on his current standard.

Title number five for O'Sullivan. No one can touch him when he plays at the top of his game hawkins did well to get near him.

His comment about a whore's drawers was 20 minutes too early in the evening though  ::)

Stephen Lee banned from snooker for twelve years. Harsh or not ?
I think he should be banned for life myself.

Ban him for life, not for cheating, but for being the most negative snooker player on the circuit.
