Another impressive thing was the women's team pursuiters breaking the world record in six consecutive races

Brad
Mo
Jess

Brad gets it 'cos he's Mr Cool.  Mo narrowly misses out due to having a scary smile when he finishes a race.

Nice to see Mo and Brad topping the list, I reckon the 2 of them are going to have to a scrap in the carpark for sports personality of the year, both have achieved something spectacular for the first time for a UK sportsman and neither has had the award before (which discounts Sir Chris).  It is a bad luck omment for Ben Ainslie and Jess Ennis though as both would have a great shout normally but Mo and Wiggo have had a spectacular year.

Trott will win Young SPOTY at a... trot.

Mo was on a mission and Jess is a delightful but for me Rutherford is the man. Succeeded where he had no right to do so.

Mo will be racing the 2 miles race in the next 10 minutes or so on BBC2 for anyone interested.

Grabarz won the high jump and Rutherford was 3rd in the long jump.

No record as no pace makers. But in the last 200m he just sprinted off and no one in the field got close.

He wife gave birth to twins the other day as well. He will have the names inscribed on the golds.

Just been to the Athletics down the Road.
Great day.

Special mention for this foxy Cuban pole vaulter who got Silver in London.
Probably the fittest body i've ever seen.
