Give me Makoun, Gardner, Herd and Bannan over Delphy every day of the week. I have never been impressed with him.

Pre season friendly against Fiorentina many moons ago?

1-1 home draw with Man United 2 seasons back?

I think he's got the talent. Would be a shame if it wasn't realised. Spunking 8m on him should be a reason to persevere more, not less.

This is boring.   I am going outside to plant my delphiniums.   Likes a nice Delphy does Mrs Green.

Unfortunately this lad is injury prone and I can see this ending in an insurance claim for us to recover some of the transfer money.

He deserves a chance next season. Everyone is very quick to criticise but I think young, up and coming talent from the championship is exactly what we should be taking a gamble on. There aren't many players that have covered themselves in glory but it's quite a step up from the champ to the prem, he's also had bad injuries. U can teach a player to cut out the stupid tackles but u can't teach natural talent which I do think he poseses

another appalling transfer made by the pube-headed one. 6m on someone who looks good in Div1 is not even vaguely sane judgement. Even if he'd done it at championship level it would have been a bit steep. To me he looks a lot worse than some of our home grown youngsters and probably will end up eventually in the Championship(after we've paid him god knows how much for the length of his contract)

He has a cultured left foot and the ability to go past players as well as a decent shot. If he can learn how to tackle or how to not tackle instead of diving-in and getting booked/injuring himself I think he could yet have a future.

I'd look to move him on this summer. Would rather Makoun got more of a chance next season.
